Michio Kaku joins the Science Channel

Dr. Michio Kaku had been named Physicist-in-Residence at  Discovery Communications’ Science Channel, serving as the network’s guide in the quest to explore the big questions of the universe and the science of tomorrow.   He can be seen weekly as the host of SciQ, the Science Channel’s Sunday evening lineup.  Michio Kaku is Professor of Theoretical Physics at the City University of New York, and author of the New York Times Bestseller PHYSICS OF THE IMPOSSIBLE, which will become the basis of a weekly Science Channel series in 2009.

John Falk wins two gold Lowell Thomas Travel Journalism Awards

The awards are in the categories of environmental tourism and special purpose for the articles “Why The Bonobos Need a Radio…and Other (Unlikely) Lessons From Deepest Congo”, and “Downward Facing Boyfriend”. Both stories were Published in National Geographic Adventure.
